• Day 1 Arrive Tripoli and transfer to the centrally located Al-Kabir Hotel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Overnight at Al-Kabir Hotel

• Day 2 Excursion to the magnificent Roman site of Leptis Magna with its Theatre, Forum, Baths, Sports Ground, Nymphaeum and Temples. Continue to Misrata. Overnight at Koz al-Teek Hotel

• Day 3 Drive to Benghazi in eastern Libya. Overnight at Tibesti Hotel

• Day 4 Visit the Greco-Roman sites of Teuchira (Tocra) and Ptolemais (Tolmeita) before driving to Al-Bayda for two nights at the Qasr al-Bayda Hotel

• Day 5 Full day excursion to the stunning Greek/Roman city of Cyrene. Return to Al-Bayda

• Day 6 Morning visit to Apollonia with its picturesque seashore theatre. View the tombs of Al-Uwailiya and continue to Tobruk. Overnight at the Masira Hotel

• Day 7 Sightseeing in the famous World War II city Tobruk will include Rommel's HQ, the Knightsbridge, Commonwealth and German war cemeteries, and the remains of the tragic Lady Be Good aeroplane. Later,return to Al-Bayda for overnight at the Qasr al-Bayda Hotel

• Day 8 Visit the stunning mosaics of Qasr Libya and the eerie pre-Islamic temple of Slontah before returning to Benghazi. Overnight at the Tibesti Hotel

• Day 9 Return along the coastal road to Zliten in western Libya. Overnight at the Zliten Hotel

• Day 10 Visit Abd al-Salaam Mosque in Zliten. Continue to the Roman city of Sabrata with its stunning colonnaded theatre. Return to Tripoli for two nights at Al-Kabir Hotel

• Day 11 Sightseeing tour of Tripoli including the superb National Museum, Green Square, the Church of Santa Maria, the 18th century British Consulate, the 17th century French Consulate, Arch of Marcus Aurelius and the mosques and souks of the medina where lunch will be taken

• Day 12 Transfer to airport for flight home
